PPM B1 is a pluggable processor module (PPM) for use with the CubeSat-compatible Motherboard Module (MBM). This is flight hardware (blue). By adding a PPM B1 to an MBM, you create a CubeSat-compatible C&DH module built around Silicon Lab's 8-bit C8051F120 low-power 8-bit microcontroller (MCU). PPM B1 has an C8051F120 with 128KB internal Flash memory and 8,848B internal RAM, and runs as high as 100MHz. PPM B1 also has an on-board, external, 128KB static RAM for use as XRAM.
Includes a fully tested PPM B with a Silicon Labs® C8051F120 MCU soldered in place.
PPM B1 is part of CubeSat Kit flight hardware, and plug into a Motherboard Module (MBM). PPM B1 is used on flight hardware to run fully debugged C8051 software and to control fully debugged hardware on your CubeSat Kit. PPM B1 is electrically identical to PSPM B; your software will run identically on PPM B1 in a flight environment, and on PSPM B in a development environment.

Prospective customers must purchase an entire C8051-based CubeSat Kit first, before purchasing additional PPM Bs "a la carte."
PPM B is available only to customers who have already purchased a CubeSat Kit /C8051; proof of a prior CubeSat Kit /C8051 purchase is required. That's because the supplemental information (e.g., schematics) and software required to use PPM B are only included in the purchase of a full CubeSat Kit.
