This software and hardware upgrade package contains all of Texas Instruments® MSP430-specific components included in a CubeSat Kit™. It is intended for CubeSat Kit™ customers who purchased a Kit with another processor family, and wish to also develop with TI's 16-bit MSP430 MCUs while reusing their existing Development Board (DB), etc.

This upgrade includes these processor-specific components, for TI's MSP430 MCU:
- MSP-TS430PM64 Adapter with MSP430F2618, MSP430F1612 or MSP430F1611
- Pluggable Processor Module A3 (PPM A3) as standard. PPM A1 or PPM A2 can be sepcificed instead.
- JFPC-MSP430 Programming Adapter
- TI® MSP430 USB Flash Emulation Tool
- Salvo Pro for TI's MSP430
- MSP430 CubeSat Kit Software
- HCC-Embedded MSP430 EFFS-THIN SD Card Library for the CubeSat Kit
This upgrade is compatible with the following software package from Rowley Associates: Important Note: This CubeSat Kit is compatible only with the CrossWorks for MSP430 toolset; it is not compatible with any other MSP430 toolchains, and no other MSP430 toolchains are supported. Customers wishing to use the CubeSat Kit /MSP430 must purchase CrossWorks for MSP430 separately. Educational discounts for CrossWorks for MSP430 are be available from Rowley.
